Q: Why does a Escalade Truck get less gas milage then the Escalade SUV?
The EXT (Truck) gets 5 mpg and the SUV gets 20 on the city roads.
No problems. Thats how many all escalade trucks get.

A: If its getting 5 mpg then something is seriously wrong with it.

They all get about the same mileage because its all the same truck. The only version to get much better is the hybrid.

Q: Why does a 2008 Cadillac Escalade (SUV) cost way more than a 2008 Nissan Armada?
My y dad wants to buy a new SUV, and he really likes the Cadillac but he cant understand why it costs about $60,000 when a Armada costs about 40,000. The cadillac is more roomier than the nissan. They both have good luxury in the inside, and look good at the outside. The Nissan back seats can fold! Unlike the Escalade. What makes it cost so much??????

A: Because it’s a Cadillac. There so much better than a Nissan any day of the week. Why you would want a useless SUV is a bigger question and spending $40,000 to 60,000 ion it is really something you need to think about.

A: Get a dodge durango. Just about the same size still have 3rd row seating. They are in AWD all the time and then you can switch to 4X4. Plus with what you were going to spend you could get a newer durango that is built on the ram chasis. Very smooth ride and get the Hemi for 350 horses and MDS technology to shut down the engine to get around 20 mpg on the highway.

Q: Will 26’s fit a 2004 Escalade suv with out trimming the frame or lifting it?
I recently have 22’s on it but im wondering if its possible to go slimmer on the tire and bigger on the rim?

A: I really really doubt it, 22″ is about the biggest I think would fit, maybe a 24″ if you dont drive on a road with bumps. Either way your speedometer is so screwed lol. Try tirerack.com see if they have any info.

EDIT: What you can do is go to a comparable tire store and pick a size, beand and what not. They should have a binder listing the overall diameter of the tire and the width of the tread, write em down and measure it on the vehicle and see for yourself, but like I said I think that 24″ is the biggest I’ve seen without modifiactions to the frame and susupension.

i just want to know which one i should buy i know every car is different but which one is better made the cadillac or the chevy because i had a cadi and it sucked but maybe it was just that one not all of them. tell me what you think. or if theres another one you think is better let me know im also considering the avalanche.

A: You have to realize, a GM truck is a GM truck. Chevy, GMC and Cadillac are all GM brands.

The Tahoe, Escalade, and Yukon are all based off the full size chevy truck frame. They all use a variant of the Gen III/GenIV Small block chevy V8. In some cases its the exact same motor but typically Escalade are equipped with more powerful motors.

In 2002 the Escalade, Yukon and Tahoe were offered with the base LM7/L59 295hp 5.3 liter V8. The Yukon had the optional 335hp 6 liter LQ4. The Escalade had the optional 345hp 6 liter LQ9.

Interiorwise, they are near identical, the Cadillac has a slightly more upscale interior than the top of the line Tahoe, but the Yukon and Yukon Denali are pretty much on par with the Escalade.

Basically its depends on whichever one you can get cheaper and whichever one you like better. They are all essentially the same truck.

A: The Escalade is certainly not a performance SUV. That being said, a wheel forged from a single block is typically lighter and stronger.

A: Range Rover Sport in Burnt Orange the build quality and styling is the best
and performance blows the other two away.
