Q: 2010 Chevy Suburban USB port?
I cannot locate it! Any help????
Just checked under the dash on passenger and driver side. Nothing….

A: Yes it is a far price for a 2010 burb, BUT GM is starting to use a new computer system that is different in a way as to how the computers communicate. Now you burb is not totally using the new system its kind of half and half, which sucks, but the 100% new systems like whats in the ‘10 Terra’s really sucks, and all the bugs are not worked out. Right now I would almost agree with what Skyler said, not for the truck power and style system, but more the computer systems, I would wait another 3-5 years, till most of the bugs are not total nightmares, like right now, but if you get a real good GM extended warranty and you really want the truck, Get it

Q: Honestly, is a Chevy Suburban hard to drive?
Does it size (of 2010 model year) really make it all that hard to park, back up, maneuver through parking lots, etc,?
Does anyone know if it would be more challenging than a Chevy Astro van/Express van?

A: Actually, the chevy suburban is pretty easy to drive and handle, it drives like a large sedan, the only problem you may be facing at the beginning like many people do when they are usually driving small cars is when you park just because it’s a long truck, but nowadays many suburbans are equipped with parking sensors and/or rearview camera so you shouldn’t be worrying about how complicated is to handle. I think that a chevy astro is more complicated to drive since the visibility is kind of bad. You will get accustomed easily.

A: Before you buy your wife a car for Christmas, make sure you think about this…..
How on earth are you going to ever top that? You are setting the bar way too high for future Christmas’.

Buy her something like a Coach or Prada purse and go car shopping with her when you are ready to buy a car.
If she wants a Suburban and a Prius, I have to assume she is just telling you what she likes based on the way they look and doesn’t really know if she will like driving it. These vehicles are about as different as they could possibly be.

You should have her test-drive vehicles before buying something that expensive.

Q: question about transmission type?
can anyone tell me what this type of transmission is called? Its the kind that you shift in back of the steering wheel… it goes up and down… im not talking about the Lambo/Ferrari/Mitsubishi lancer type (2010)… im talking about the type that some suv’s and sedans have (e.g. chevy suburban)…

so what im looking for is what the type of transmission it is…
and maybe a couple of suv’s and sedans that have it..

A: I think you are refering to an automatic transmission with a (steering) column shift lever. Very common on US SUVs.

im 15 and im about be 15 in october !
i really really want a car !
the city i live in is like mostly rich people !
and some suburban and rural areas
alot of people have cars some have big big trucks like the new fords and the new mustangs
basically most of them have nice new looking cars.
and some have old 1978 toyota camrys and things like that and pontiac sunfires and chevy cavaliers and such
but anyways i feel really bad and sad and kinda poor because my friend got a brand new 2009 hummer h3 ! and she’s only 15 and she drives it to school ! the thing is she’s not spoiled stuck up at all ! she’s really nice and sweet and that nice girl and she told her parents thats the kinda car she wanted and didnt expect it to get that early but her grandparents bought it ! and then for christmas this other girl got a brand new 2010 dodge challenger and she is shorter then the car and doesnt even know how to drive ! and she’s spoiled and mean ! and my other friend got a 2010 ford F150. i asked my parents about a car because ive been driving since i was 13 ! yes i know 13. but you gotta learn someday and my parents make good money my dad doesnt mind getting me one unless my mom helps with the money but my mom doesnt think i need one. my mom owns a daycare buisness and my dad works at down and makes alot of money. my parents are divorced and both live in two story houses and my dad drives a jaguar xj8 and my mom drives an infiniti g35 so my parents make good money !
the kinda car i want is a pontiac g5 !

A: I like American cars, but not really sure that I would go the G5 route, since they’ve only been in production a few years. But whatever floats your boat. Try making a deal with your mom, tell her that you will get a part-time job to pay for gas and help pay insurance. This will show her that you are responsible, and you will be more likely to get the car. Plus, get a car that you think you will like 5 years from now, because usually that’s how long you will drive the first one.
