Q: What can I do to buy a Chevrolet suburban 2010 at a good deal?
I am in the market to buy a suburban 2010 texas edition. I have a down payment of 5k and I want to finance the rest. I know the MSRP is around 41k and the invoice price is 38k but I want a lower price and zero percent financing for 5 years AND new car. if anyone has good tips please do let me know thanks

A: Are you aware that invoice does not represent what the dealer pays for the car? Dealers will be happy to sell you a vehicle at invoice. You can only get 0% financing when it is being offered by the factory. If that offer is on the table the dealer must participate which raises the cost or cuts into the profit.

Q: When is the 2010 Chevrolet Suburban Diesel coming out?
I live in Canada and my family is going to buy a new car. I was just wondering when is the 2010 Chevrolet Suburban Diesel coming out ?

P.S I don’t want answers suggesting i should buy a different car

A: The 4.5 litre diesel which was to go in the Suburban or anywhere the small block gas engine fits will not go ahead. (even though the engine was through development and ready for production) Another brilliant move by GM. So that means no diesel Suburban in 2010. Just like what brought GM to this point, they absolutely refuse to take any leadership in anything, instead they will play catch up once the imports flood the market with their diesels.

Q: Will the 2010 Suburban be available with a 6.2 Liter Motor?
I do not understand why the Tahoe is available with a bigger Motor than the Suburban. Any reason why it is not available in the Suburban? Will it be in the near future? I am considering a new SUV and the 6.0L just isn’t enough.

A: You will more than likely see it in the Suburban for 2010 but as of this time we do not have any info on the 2010 Suburbans or Tahoe’s. You should be able to find out for sure in another month.
I don’t have good news for you got this just today. From this no 6.2 for the Suburban next year.

Q: Is this a good price for a 2010 Suburban?
Chevy 2010, leather, DVD player, Texas Edition, 20 inch polished aluminium wheels? $42250.00

A: Yes it is a far price for a 2010 burb, BUT GM is starting to use a new computer system that is different in a way as to how the computers communicate. Now you burb is not totally using the new system its kind of half and half, which sucks, but the 100% new systems like whats in the ‘10 Terra’s really sucks, and all the bugs are not worked out. Right now I would almost agree with what Skyler said, not for the truck power and style system, but more the computer systems, I would wait another 3-5 years, till most of the bugs are not total nightmares, like right now, but if you get a real good GM extended warranty and you really want the truck, Get it

Q: 2010 Chevy Suburban USB port?
I cannot locate it! Any help????
Just checked under the dash on passenger and driver side. Nothing….
It’s a rental. I found it though! It was in the inside of the center console. Thanks guys.

A: Where have all owners manuals gone?

Q: Brand new Suburban with squeaky brakes?!?!?!?
I bought a brand new 2010 Suburban last week…Today I noticed the brakes squeak when stopping. It does not happen all the time, and only at a very low speed right before a complete stop. How and why would this happen to a car that is only a week old??? (less than 50 miles on it)

A: Has it been sitting over night in a humid climate? They will squeak the 1st time you stop.

Q: Honestly, is a Chevy Suburban hard to drive?
Does it size (of 2010 model year) really make it all that hard to park, back up, maneuver through parking lots, etc,?
Does anyone know if it would be more challenging than a Chevy Astro van/Express van?

A: Actually, the chevy suburban is pretty easy to drive and handle, it drives like a large sedan, the only problem you may be facing at the beginning like many people do when they are usually driving small cars is when you park just because it’s a long truck, but nowadays many suburbans are equipped with parking sensors and/or rearview camera so you shouldn’t be worrying about how complicated is to handle. I think that a chevy astro is more complicated to drive since the visibility is kind of bad. You will get accustomed easily.

Q: Should the 2010 World Cup be held in South Africa if they are currently killing foreigners?
“Since Friday to now there have been 12 murders,” provincial police communications director Govindsamy Mariemuthoo told AFP when asked about the troubles, which intensified over the weekend. Since the beginning of last week, foreigners have been targeted by mobs carrying knives and guns in some of the toughest inner-city and suburban slum areas despite pleas for calm and widespread condemnation from politicians” – Source; News24.com

A: FIFA originally awarded the World Cup to Africa and South Africa because South Africa promised Blatter votes for Blatter’s reelection as FIFA president in return.

Blatter, SA Tourism and the ANC will all have blood on their hands if SA ever stages this event.

No, it needs to be held somewhere safe where the tourists won’t be seen as game with tens of thousands of criminals waiting for them to step foot off the plane.

you can look at various years of Sonata and post your own MPG report.

Q: What Car should I buy my wife for christmas?
-2010 Chevy Camaro

~Chevy Suburban

~Toyota Prius

These are the cars she loves most and yes I have the money

A: Before you buy your wife a car for Christmas, make sure you think about this…..
How on earth are you going to ever top that? You are setting the bar way too high for future Christmas’.

Buy her something like a Coach or Prada purse and go car shopping with her when you are ready to buy a car.
If she wants a Suburban and a Prius, I have to assume she is just telling you what she likes based on the way they look and doesn’t really know if she will like driving it. These vehicles are about as different as they could possibly be.

You should have her test-drive vehicles before buying something that expensive.

Q: Name of an animated movie coming out in 2010?
I have searched everywhere but exhausted my resources, primarily because I cannot think of even a single part of the title! I wanted to watch the trailer again.

It’s an animated alien movie that is due out some time in, I think, 2010. In the trailer, a group of aliens is showing enjoying suburban life, when all of a sudden, a rocket lands on their planet (the moon, I believe) and an astronaut comes out. Panic ensues for both the aliens and the astronaut.

It’s not Monsters vs. Aliens or Aliens in the Attic. I’d really like to show my friends the trailer, so can anyone think of what this is? Thanks!
Planet 51, that is it! Thank you, all who answered. I’ll be giving the 10 points to the first person who answered, but I also appreciate the links.
Hmph. It’s not letting me choose a best answer. I’ll come back later and try again. Sorry, but it’s not giving me the option.

A: planet 51 is what it is called

Q: what do you think about the new 2010 ford car features?
What do you think about the new features,
Do you think its better, worse, ??????

DETROIT – So you think junior is a little too lead-footed when he drives the family car? Starting next year, Ford Motor Co. will give you the power to do something about it.

The company will roll out a new feature on many 2010 models that can limit teen drivers to 80 mph, using a computer chip in the key.

Parents also have the option of programming the teen’s key to limit the audio system’s volume, and to sound continuous alerts if the driver doesn’t wear a seat belt.

“Our message to parents is, hey, we are providing you some conditions to give your new drivers that may allow you to feel a little more comfortable in giving them the car more often,” said Jim Buczkowski, Ford’s director of electronic and electrical systems engineering.

The feature, called “MyKey,” will be standard on an unspecified number of Ford models when the 2010 cars and trucks come out late next summer. The feature will spread to the entire Ford, Lincoln and Mercury lineup as models are updated, spokesman Wes Sherwood said.

Ford arrived at the 80 mph limit even though freeway speed limits are lower in most states because it wanted to leave a margin in case an unusual situation arises, Buczkowski said. In some states, freeway speed limits are above 70 mph, Sherwood said.

“Just lopping it off at exactly 70 mph was felt to be too limiting,” Buczkowski said.

The company already uses computer chips in its keys to prevent thefts. The car won’t start unless it recognizes the chip in the key.

“It’s making use of existing technology, and through the magic of software, we’re able to build features on top of the features we already have,” Buczkowski said.

In addition to speed limits, MyKey also will limit the volume of the audio system, and it will sound a six-second chime every minute if seat belts are not fastened. The chime sounds for adult drivers, too, but ends after five minutes to avoid annoying adults who adamantly don’t want to wear seat belts, Buczkowski said.

Parents also have the option of having the car sound a chime if the teen exceeds 45, 55 or 65 mph.

The feature will debut on the 2010 Focus compact car and quickly move to other company models as a standard feature, the company said.

Ford said its market research shows 75 percent of parents like the speed and audio limits, but as you might expect, 67 percent of teens don’t like them.

Danisha Williams, a 16-year-old senior at Southfield-Lathrup High School in suburban Detroit, said she’s against the idea.

“I wouldn’t want my parents to have that much control over how I’m driving,” she said. “If your parents are holding your hand, you’re never going to learn.”

Brittany Hawthorne, 17, another Southfield-Lathrup senior, said there may be emergency situations where she’d have to drive more than 80, possibly to accelerate to avoid a crash.

Ford’s research shows that parents would be more likely to let teens use their vehicles with the system, Sherwood said, and if it gets them the car more often, the number of teens objecting drops by nearly half.

A top official from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, a research group funded by the auto insurance industry that is pushing to raise the minimum driving age to 17 or 18, found the key intriguing and said she was not aware of any other manufacturer offering such a feature. IIHS says car crashes are the leading cause of death among teenagers.

“Research we’ve done has shown that speeding is a major factor in teen crashes, especially novice teen drivers,” said Anne McCartt, the institute’s senior vice president for research. “So I think a system that tries to correct the speeding behavior has the potential to improve safety.”

More than 5,000 U.S. teens die each year in car crashes. The rate of crashes, fatal and nonfatal, per mile driven for 16-year-old drivers is almost 10 times the rate for drivers ages 30 to 59, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Several U.S. auto insurers have begun offering in-car cameras or global positioning equipment to help parents monitor their teens’ driving behavior, in the hope of reducing the number of crashes.

A: I belive what Fords doing is great. And the features are very cool with a tunable speed limiter and audio limiter. thats a parents dream which might boost sales. All this besides the rest of the new AWSOME features like the aluminum ball shifter and new engines.o man the new stang will be great. But besides te new stang. Ford is starting to finally realize what will sell and improving safty is a GREAT start.

Q: Do libs need illegal aliens to win in Nov 2010?
Is that the real reason they support illegals?

Do libs even have a strategy for November’s election???

WSJ-NBC: Voters Most Interested in Midterms Prefer GOP to Democrats, 56%–36%

Republicans have solidified support among voters who had drifted from the party in recent elections, putting the GOP in position for a strong comeback in November’s mid-term campaign, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.

The findings suggest that public opinion has hardened in advance of the 2010 elections, making it tougher for Democrats to translate their legislative successes, or a tentatively improving U.S. economy, into gains among voters.

Republicans have reassembled their coalition by reconnecting with independents, seniors, blue-collar voters, suburban women and small town and rural voters—all of whom had moved away from the party in the 2006 elections, in which Republicans lost control of the House. Those voter groups now favor GOP control of Congress…

The voters who said they were most interested in the November elections favor Republican control of Congress by a 20-point margin, with 56% backing the GOP and 36% backing Democrats—the highest gap all year on that question.

A: Illegal Aliens getting amnesty and fast tracked to citizenship (With voting rights coming quickly) AND getting ACORN to go out and encourage the cemetery vote. Hell, most elections are decided by the ACORN dead voter turnout! Sometimes they vote two or three times!
