Q: Is chevrolet suburban a good car to buy?
Hi everyone…
I want to buy a car. Chevrolet Suburban from 1996 and it only has 99,000 miles.
I do not know a lot about cars but do you think this is a good car, trust worthy or is it one of those models that will leave you in the midle of the highway? Also what about the pieces if they get broken, are they expensive to order?
A: As good as any other and if a 1/2 ton 2wd model parts are not the high but gas will kill you. With gas the way it is those should be dirt cheap. less than 2k at least

Q: Looking for 91 chevrolet suburban lift kit were can I find one?
I have a 91 chevrolet suburban 2500 2wd 8 lug want a suspension lift kit 2-4 will do not going off road just want it! Have a body kit now. I have looked for days can’t find one.
I can find one for 73-91 5 lug 6 lug 2wd but not 8 lug it stops at 88 don’t know why! If you can help plz post answer. Thanks, JC
A: I own a shop, and think this; You will have to contact the manufacture in order to get the correct kit for your vehicle. Do a search on these companies: Skyjacker, Performance Accessories, and Fabtech. Get a phone number for technical support from their site, and give them a call.

Q: Fuel economy for a 4×4 Chevrolet Suburban with 7.4L or 454ci V8?
I’ve found a 1993, 1995, 1996, and a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban with 7.4L or 454 ci V8s around my area and I was just wondering what type of fuel economy these guys get with 4×4? Estimates would be fine. Just curious. Well, thanks.

A: The 4.5 litre diesel which was to go in the Suburban or anywhere the small block gas engine fits will not go ahead. (even though the engine was through development and ready for production) Another brilliant move by GM. So that means no diesel Suburban in 2010. Just like what brought GM to this point, they absolutely refuse to take any leadership in anything, instead they will play catch up once the imports flood the market with their diesels.

I am in the market to buy a suburban 2010 texas edition. I have a down payment of 5k and I want to finance the rest. I know the MSRP is around 41k and the invoice price is 38k but I want a lower price and zero percent financing for 5 years AND new car. if anyone has good tips please do let me know thanks
A: Are you aware that invoice does not represent what the dealer pays for the car? Dealers will be happy to sell you a vehicle at invoice. You can only get 0% financing when it is being offered by the factory. If that offer is on the table the dealer must participate which raises the cost or cuts into the profit.

i need a car for my family (7 persons) i have chevrolet astro 1991 van but im looking for a better one (2008) cause it has a leakage in AC system i need such ideas to choose the better thanks anyway.
A: stay away from the gas guzzlers like the suburban.i would go with a mini van.their more family friendly,like lower to the ground so its easier for the kids to get in and if you need to haul something,the seats come out pretty easy.
Q: My 2002 chevrolet suburban ran out of gas then when I put gas again it wont start, the gauge stays on E?
I put a 5 gallon of gasoline, and checked the fuel relays and fuses everyhing is ok.
can some one tell me if it is the fuel pump?or I just need to fill the tank.

A: It sounds like the float is stuck as far as it not starting did you bleed the system?? there is a bleeder in the line giong to the carb.

Q: 2000 Chevrolet Suburban 4×4 convertion to LPG Safe or not?
My dad is saving up for a used Chevrolet Suburban 4×4 but fuel price are ridiculously high here, I was thinking of converting it to LPG its 50-55% cheaper but is it safe and what are the draw backs ? because I’m also planing to get a used ‘97 BMW 740i E38.
A: If you get a proper kit and have it correctly installed there are no more safety issues than with gas. Only issue is the size of the tank and how to externally mount?
Q: Where is the speed sensor on a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 and what color is the high speed wire?
There’s a high speed wire and a low speed wire. I need to know which is which, but I need to know where the speed sensor is located first. I read somewhere its on the rear of the transmission, passenger’s side. Is that right?

YEa about that, its the switch brake lights. You how theres a swich yea dat.
A: easy…open the hath or barn doors in the back..there are 2 bolts i believe they are 10mm make sure you use a magnetic socket they get lost very easily…take it out and pop the lights out and then take out the circut board then change the bulbs you need out…put the lense back in and bolt them back up done

A: if it has the bose factory system, there is an amp under the center console, you may need an adapter at the radio to make it compatable

The previous owner lost the owner’s manual and I’m going crazy trying to figure it out.
A: easy to pull one fuse at time might take 5 minutes to look at them all and if they all good. replace push in unit cost you like 10 bucks maybe less can get at any parts store can get whole unit maybe 25 bucks maybe less easy most just have a clip and one wire most of time if its not fuse its the push in part they cheap easy fix to replace any part really you can check al the fuses in a matter of minutes and know if ones bad replace it
Q: How do i replace a starter on a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban?

A: buy the new starter and look to see how its installed.still confused,dont try to repair it.the starter is the easiest thing to replace on that truck.honestly though if you have to ask how to change it please DO NOT attempt the job.you will run into problems that are way to complicated for you to fix.
