Q: How much should i expect the cost to drop from 2010 model F 150 when the 2011 models arrive?
will i save any money at all if i buy a 2010 model F150 if i wait a few more months for the 2011 models to drop? How much can i expect to save? Could i not just use that as a bargaining tool to lower price now?

A: Most dealers will bargain on their current model trucks as the model year end approaches, however the biggest discounts come as factory rebates (lowering the dealers cost allowing the deeper discounts) just prior to and just after arrival of the new model year, the thing to do is to see how common the truck model and option package you want is, if it is very common wait for the year end and there will probably be one you want available, if it is rarer, buy it now as it probably will not be available then.

Q: What truck do you think is better, 2010 Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram 1500?
I like the F-150 better but i really like the cargo box on the side of the Ram.

A: if you constantly need to haul heavy loads the Ford is a lot better.

otherwise the Rams new suspension makes it smoother for daily driving

A: i have been lookin in to them also, but i could never find a price. they pretty much just say it will probably cost between 27,000 to 34 grand. and they will be available summer 2009

A: My sources tell me that a 4.4L 6cyl diesel will be made available in the 2009 F150!

It may be a “late availability” engine option, but it will be the 2009 Model Year.

Q: 2010 Ford F-150 exhaust?
I just traded on my 06 Mustang GT for a 2010 F-150 4 door. I had flowmaster on my mustang and loved that sound. Was curious if F150 can achieve that sound as well and if so what should I get put on. It’s not 4×4 has 1 exhaust pipe. Someone told me with the new converters that it’s pointless to buy new exhaust. But on YouTube several peoples have the f150 sounding nice. Keep in mind I have minimal knowledge of cars. And need to keep cost resonable

A: Flowmaster makes mufflers that would fit your F-150, so there’s no problem putting a new muffler on your truck. You could also look into a “Cat back” system which replaces everything from the catalytic converter back to the rear bumper, but it’s going to cost you around $650 plus labor. I’d just try replacing the muffler first.

Q: Why can’t I order towing mirrors on a 2010 Ford F-150 FX2 with max tow package?
I am attempting to build a 2010 F-150 FX2 with Max Tow (53M) and black manual telescoping power heated trailer tow signal mirrors (54P). I can order the basic tow package (535) and add tow mirrors (54P). However when I order the max tow package (53M) I can no longer order the towing mirrors (54P). I don’t understand why I can’t order tow mirrors with a towing package. I believe that this is a glitch in Ford’s build program. Help?

A: Are you sure they are not included with the package?

A: you can get an 03 f150 4×4 supercrew with less than 50k miles for 8 grand now..so the resell isnt great

A: go to ford.com…no guess needed….all car/truck co’s have a build your own section…put all your options on and see what they charge…on a 35K truck id expect to pay 30K

A: how much horsepower – 5.4L 310 hp V8, 14 / 18 mpg
torque – 365 @ 3500 RPM
payload weight 1700lbs. – 3070lbs.

The F-150 gained standard ESC and a six-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration from the 5.4-liter V8 is improved but the engine still sounds coarse. Otherwise, the cabin is very quiet. The revised interior has more comfortable front seats and a very roomy rear seat. Handling is secure and braking performance is vastly improved. The ride remains stiff and jumpy. Built-in controls for trailer braking are handy. There are some neat options, including extend-able side steps, a tailgate ladder to ease accessing the bed, and a tailgate assist. Crash-test results are impressive.

I got my platinum 2 months ago and now harley davidson came out which one is better

A: Platinum is a more classy package. The Harley Davidson is if you are looking for a more rugged package, and obviously if you like Harley Davidson. I personally think that the platinum edition is better.
