Q: how to change the temperature display in a f-250 truck?
I would like to change the temperature from F* to C*.
A: It depends on the year of the truck. Usually if you find selection somewhere that says “E/M” (for English/Metric), It will change the settings of all the measurements to either the metric or imperial measurements.
Q: Why is my f-250 truck going through spark plug coils?
I have replaced one of the coils twice within a year and am hearing it clatter now. What would cause this. A bad spark plug?
A: i dont see a link with the coils and a noise. a coil has no moving parts and is external to the engine so it has no impact with any thing that moves. you can hear a click from a spark that is leaking past the insulation to ground. i would look into valves
Q: where is the fuel filter located on a 1990 ford f-250 truck with a 4.9 liter engine?
I’m trying to fix my dad’s truck while he is away. we thought that the problem was the fuel injectors, but i wanna replace the fuel filter and see if there is any change before i go and spend a whole lot of money on new injectors
A: it is under the drivers side in the frame rail under the cab …undo the worm clamp ..have the new filter ready to go..with screw drive gently pop out the hairpin clips and remove the filter and replace with new one make sure you put in the clips right..turn key on and off two or three times to repressurize the system and check for leeks..if truck will not strart hold a propane torch in the intake while someone tries to start,if it runs on propane and quits when you turn it off the injector screens might be full of dirt if the filter bypassed it self..mine did and the filter was pack so full of dirt that it looked like river sediment,,i change my filter every fall now
Q: Can my truck, 1985 Ford F-250, able to swap out with new turbo diesel powerstroke?
I have 460 cubic inch 7.5 liter engine and I starting dont like gasoline engine in my truck because i have driven trucks with diesel and they impressed me, so I wonder if 7.3, 6.0 or other type of ford turbo diesel can compatible with my F-250..
A: Find a complete truck and swap everything over. Get a 7.3, stay away from the 6.0.
Wiring harness, fuel pump, suspension, radiaotr, transmission, etc.
It can be done, but it is work.

I have no manual for it, and it’s not on the cover….is there a website I can see one?

A: Audiobahn!! that’s what I have in my 2500 RAM. I made a custom console that run’s to the back of my cab Its my box and my console get audiobahn subs one in the back of the box and 4 on the sides . then you wanna get audiobahn 6×9 to go in the doors . and so all you here isn’t just bass get some tweeters to mount on your window post and back of cab. I don’t think it sounds to bad .

A: Well, what year truck you want? I mean it makes a difference. You can always find these raised already and don’t have to spend the money to raise it yourself. If you get a mint condition 1995 F-250 and raise it, it would cost around $7,000. This price would be more if you want to buy bigger tires to accompany the lift, otherwise it wouldn’t look really good.

Q: Is it possible to convert a 2000 F-250 XL truck to a t-top?
I’ve seen a lot on-line about converting comaro’s, etc. but none on trucks. I know it can be done because back in the day, my uncle got some for his GMC sierra. He was actually the first person in Texas to ever have a t-top truck. But that was back in the day and I can’t find any resources for it now.
A: it can be done. You would have to creat and design it. Dont think there is any thing out the to put a t- top on a pickup. Google and ask around. sorry I cant be better help.
Q: Where can I get a bench seat for a 1998 Ford F-250 pickup truck?
It doesn’t have to be NEW, but in good condition.
A: Best place to look is your closest salvage yard. Caution, this is an item you really need to shop for at several different yards or businesses. Bench seats are something that generally gets tossed out in the dumpsters with the rest of the trash. Its an item that the salvage yards cant hardly get rid of. They will try to make you think they are worth gold and rip you good for one, but the fact is unless they have some special deal going with some one most bench seats get burned or sent out with the trash trucks. Salvage yards make their money on drive line parts and sheet metal. They don`t like to store interiors and once an interior get about 3 years old from the year the vehicle was built they generally stop caring completely about it. So shop hard you should be able to find one cheap. Have them price it to you and then ask how much if you remove it your self. They may even discount it more and most truck seats are easy to remove. A: Silver. Dark colors show defects, dents, etc. Also in the summer, dark colored trucks get hotter inside.

This problem is intermittent ( every few days )
When it stalls and the relay clicks I can hear the fuel pumps running.
The fuel pumps are only a year old as well as the filter,I recently replaced the fuel relay and the EEC relay next to it . ?? No change ??
Have you ever heard of these symptoms and do you have any idea what it is ?
A: Iv never had this problem before but just a thought have u checked ur electical connections and ur ground wires in ur problem area of the truck and u might also check ur fuel pressure also the pump may be running but may not be feeding the engine the correct amount of fuel and or the fuel filter could be stoped up and or lines. hope that helps

A: Because they knew more about it than you did. Also, they probably knew you had a lot of good stuff worth taking. I doubt it was truly a random act.

A: with a hammer and a vaccum cleaner. Hit the window and use the vaccum cleaner to clean up the glass that falls inside
