A: No, it won’t fit. Ford restyled the Ranger in 2005. There are plenty of aftermarket hoods, both steel and fiberglass, available to fit your ‘98. I’m sure you will be able to find one that you like. I have a 3 inch fiberglass “cowl induction” scoop on the stock steel hood on my ‘90 Ranger and it looks bad ass!

A: That’s a decision that the dealer itself makes. Manufacturers ship with a minimum of fuel. Most dealers leave half a tank, at least the ones I”ve worked at. If you ask your salesperson, they will likely fill it up for you at no cost.

A: Dude, sometimes throughout the year, the 11B opt 40 contract is not available because the Regiment is full up on 11Bs. If you still want opt 40 and want to be a Ranger who sees combat, enlist as a medic, 25U/C, or 13F. Any other MOS and you wont see much of anything.

You can call your local ford parts dealer and verify they have “Neutral Tow Kit” for your model. they can tell you price, availability. They can also tell you what is in the kit and how it works. A: I think Ive heard something about pushing and holding a traction control button for 5 seconds while holding the brake. You should be able to find something in your owners manual as to how to disable it.
